Early-career psychologists: Attend convention symposia and social hour

Network with your peers during APA’s Annual Convention at a social hour sponsored by APA’s Committee on Early Career Psychologists on Thursday, Aug. 10, 6–8 p.m., in Balcony L and M of the New Orleans Marriott Hotel.

The committee welcomes all early-career psychologist attendees and notes that the event offers a chance to mingle with early-career psychologists involved in all levels of APA, state, provincial or territorial psychological association or division governance.

The committee is also offering two convention sessions on clearing early-career financial and family-balance hurdles: “Being a Parent and a Professional: Is Balancing the Right Strategy?” on Saturday, Aug. 12, 9–10:50 a.m., and “Launching Your Career on Solid Financial Footing: A Business Plan for Personal and Professional Success” on Friday, Aug. 11, 12–1:50 p.m.
