Two successive presentations on Aug. 20 will provide guidance on PsycINFO search strategies: Eva Winer on web research (Meeting Room 203, Hynes Convention Center, 3-3:50 p.m.) and Carolyn Gosling on full-text journal searching (same room, 4-4:50 p.m.).
Another electronic tool to help you write scientific papers will be demonstrated at the Publications Booth (#316). APA-Style Helper (version 2.0) lets you select the type of paper you want to write and guides you through the process of writing it. It formats your citations in APA style and helps you find more information in the APA Publications Manual. This version works with any word processor (files are in RTF, or Rich Text Format) and on both Windows and Macintosh computers.
