Candidates for APA President
Beginning this month, and continuing through the September issue, the five candidates for APA's 2004 president will answer two questions a month (see links on right for each candidate's response).
APA will mail the ballots for the presidential election to members on Oct. 15. The election closes on Nov. 29. For biographical information on each candidate and the candidates' election statements, see the May Monitor.
Questions:
Given that there is only so much that an incoming APA president can do during his or her 12-month presidency, state and then discuss the one issue about which you feel passionate and that, therefore, you will pursue with vigor if you are elected.
In your opinion, what are the most important contributions of psychology to the education process?
