  APA PRESIDENTAL ELECTION
Candidates answer first two questions
Print version: page 66

Beginning this month, and continuing through the September issue, the five candidates for APA's 2006 president will answer two questions in each issue of the Monitor. APA will mail the ballots to members on Oct. 15, and the election will close on Nov. 29. For biographical information on each candidate and the candidates' election statements, see the May Monitor.

Questions:

* How are you going to recruit, retain and involve individuals primarily engaged in scientific research?

* Approximately one-third of APA members work in educational settings (across all levels of education). What would you do as APA president to address their issues of concern?

Gerald P. Koocher, PhD
