The National Latina/o Psychological Association (NLPA) is celebrating its 25th anniversary at its first-ever annual conference, "Strengthening psychology through Latina/o family values," to be held Sept. 23-26 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The conference will feature sessions, presentations and symposia on topics including acculturation, bilingual counseling, academic-community partnerships, health promotion and class and status among Latina/o professionals. Students, including undergraduates, are welcome to attend.
Attendees who register before Aug. 1 receive a reduced rate. Attendees can register for the Sept. 23 pre-conference only, the main conference, Sept. 24-26, or the full four-day convention.
