Convention town hall meeting will explore psychology's future

Join APA President Ronald F. Levant, EdD, President-elect Gerald P. Koocher, PhD, and APA CEO Norman B. Anderson, PhD, at APA's Annual Convention on Saturday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m., for a town hall meeting and brainstorming session on the needs of psychology and psychologists. Discussion will focus on how APA can prepare for needs and opportunities in psychology in the upcoming decades. For a preview of the issues, read the APA Policy and Planning Board five-year report in the July/August American Psychologist. A suggestion box will also be available at the meeting for attendees' written opinions. The event will be held in the Washington Convention Center, meeting room 13A.
