APA PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION

Beginning this month, and continuing through the September issue, the five candidates for APA’s 2008 president will answer two questions in each issue of the Monitor. APA will mail the ballots to members on Oct. 13, and the election will close on Nov. 27. For biographical information on each candidate and the candidates’ election statements, see the May Monitor.

Questions:

What role should APA play in enhancing teaching and learning of students at all levels, as well as mechanisms by which APA can improve the overall quality of education in psychology at all levels?

What steps should APA take to increase the portability of licenses from state to state?
