  Divisions team up for cross-cutting sessions

APA's 2007 Annual Convention will once again offer cross-cutting programs sponsored by three or more APA divisions. The groups voluntarily collaborated to propose these programs, which were evaluated and accepted by the APA Board of Convention Affairs' Central Programming Working Group based on criteria such as the programs' originality, relevance to division and APA members, and overall quality. The 2007 cross-cutting programs are:

"Children's Mental Health: Innovations in Evidence-Based Treatment for Ethnic Minority Children and Adolescents," Saturday, Aug. 18, 10-11:50 a.m., co-sponsored by Divs. 12 (Society of Clinical Psychology), 16 (School), 37 (Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice), 48 (Society for the Study of Peace, Conflict, and Violence) and 53 (Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology). Co-chairs: Carol Falender, PhD, and Alec Miller, PsyD. Participants:Guillermo Bernal, PhD, Bonnie K. Nastasi, PhD, Jill M. Emanuele, PhD, Joaquin Borrego Jr., PhD, and Elke Rechberger, PhD.
