For his 2006 presidential address, APA President Gerald P. Koocher, PhD, will discuss the ethical challenges of today's psychology practitioners and researchers. His talk, "A primer on 21st century ethical hazards," will address such topics as electronic communication and service delivery; threats to client confidentiality; paperless records; changes in regulatory, credentialing and specialization criteria; new roles for psychologists in national security and law enforcement; and improving research regulation systems and scientific integrity.

His talk will be held on Friday, Aug. 11, at 2 p.m. in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
