Schuster wins NAMI award for health-care advocacy Sheila ODonnell Schuster, PhD, has won the Spirit of Peace Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness(NAMI) for her advocacy on behalf of children, citizens with disabilities and those without access to health care. Schuster is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her doctorate from Purdue University and the University of Louisville. Shes practiced child clinical psychology for more than two decades in Louisville. She is currently the executive director of the Kentucky Mental Health Coalition, director of professional affairs and legislative liaison for the Kentucky Psychological Association and is a founding member and co-chair of the Kentuckians for Health Care Reform, a grassroots coalition of more than 200 organizations.
