For the next several months, the Monitor will feature psychology's leaders whose vision, time and financial support have made APF a major philanthropic organization for psychology.
"APF is unique in that it funds scholarships and research to benefit society and recognizes individuals for their outstanding work in psychology. My husband, Bob Wesner, and I are pleased to make a contribution to support such worthy endeavors. Psychology has been very good to me, and contributing to the foundation provides the opportunity to give something back in return."
Florence L. Denmark is the Robert Scott Pace Distinguished Professor of Psychology at Pace University. She served as the 88th president of APA in 1980.
