Women’s Programs hosts 3rd annual follow on program for the Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology

The program addressed topics such as managing fiscal resources and navigating personnel challenges

On March 24, at the APA headquarters in Washington, DC, faculty and members of the Year Three Class of the Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology participated in a full-day follow-on workshop for mid-career women in academic and academic medical settings, to continue their work on the path to future leadership positions. 

Faculty members Lula A. Beatty, PhD; Helen L. Coons, PhD, ABPP; Jessica Henderson Daniel, PhD, ABPP; Ruth E. Fassinger, PhD; Susan Graves (APA Deputy CFO); Mary Casey Jacob, PhD; Shari E. Miles-Cohen, PhD (Senior Director, Women’s Programs Office); Sandy Shullman, PhD; and Karen Fraser Wycher, PhD provided a program addressing topics including managing fiscal resources and navigating personnel challenges, and including individual coaching on a specific challenge selected by each participant.
