Martin Luther King Memorial and his speech at APA in 1967 – The Role of the Behavioral Scientist in the Civil Rights Movement
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National Mall in Washington DC opened to the public on Friday, August 25. The Dedication of the Memorial was postponed due to Hurricane Irene. The dedication serves to be historic event for the United States, as Dr. King’s visions become a reality for the people of all lands.
In September 1967 Martin Luther King, Jr. took the podium at APA’s Annual Convention in Washington, DC. Dr. King addressed “The Role of the Behavioral Scientist in the Civil Rights Movement.”
