DisABILITY Resources Toolkit releases first module
The Disability Issues Office is developing an extensive toolkit called DisAbility Resources Toolkit (DART), to provide information to psychology training directors and faculty to support students with disabilities. DART will cover 8 tookits: legal information, statistics, reasonable accommodations, recruitment and interviewing, issues that are unique to psychology internships and practica, issues unique to testing and assessment, and APA’s resources and publications.
Toolkit 1: Students with Disabilities in Social and Behavioral Sciences is now available. It provides psychologists with a glimpse of who students with disabilities in the social and behavioral sciences are, including numbers, disability type, and degree, and illustrates common barriers.
