Public Interest welcomes Tissyana Camacho, the 2012 SPSSI Dalmas A. Taylor Memorial Summer Minority Policy Fellow. Tissyana received her bachelor of arts in Psychology at California State University, Northridge, where she was a National Institute of Mental Health Career Opportunities in Research Scholar. Currently, she is a doctoral student in developmental psychology at the University of Michigan working with Dr. Rosario Ceballo and Dr. Stephanie Rowley. Her research interests include ethnic identity, psychological well-being, and academic achievement in Latino adolescents and young adults. During her tenure with PI-GRO, Tissyana will be working on a number of policy issues, including ethnic minority and immigration policy issues.
