National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week

During November, the Office on Socioeconomic Status will join schools and communities nationwide in raising awareness about hunger and homelessness

Nov. 10 – 18 recognizes National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week. Each year, one week before Thanksgiving, the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness co-sponsor National Hunger and Homeless Awareness Week. During this week, schools, communities and cities take part in a nationwide effort to bring greater awareness to the problems of hunger and homelessness.

As a part of their nationwide effort to highlight and bring awareness to hunger and homelessness across the nation, the Office on Socioeconomic Status will highlight information and events via the Public Interest Twitter feed, to reach its members and the greater community. Follow us on Twitter.
