SESRCD program updates
On Nov. 7, 2012, the Socioeconomic Status Related Cancer Disparities program (SESRCD) conducted a Professional Development Training Resource (PDTR) workshop in Frankfort, Ky. in collaboration with the Kentucky Cancer Consortium and the American Cancer Society, Mid-South Division. The event, which was very well-received, drew 35 professionals from different community-based cancer organizations throughout Kentucky.

On Dec. 13, 2012, SESRCD program will conduct a PDTR workshop in Columbia, S.C. in collaboration with the USC Arnold School of Public Health, S.C. Cancer Alliance, Gibbs Cancer Center, American Cancer Society, South-Atlantic Division and APA. Register at the website.
On Dec. 18, 2012, SESRCD program will conduct a PDTR workshop in Seattle, Wash. in collaboration with the Washington Cares about Cancer Partnership, the Washington Department of Health, Healthy Communities Washington and APA. Register at the website.
On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, SESRCD program will conduct a PDTR workshop in Pearl, Miss. in collaboration with the Mississippi State Department of Health, the Mississippi Partnership for Comprehensive Cancer Control and APA. Register at the website.
