In July, Disability Issues in Psychology Office Director Anju Khubchandani will participate in a panel presentation during the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) annual conference. This year’s theme, Challenging and Changing Disability Perspectives, reflects current conceptualizations of disability as the interaction between person and environment.

But what does this mean for educators?  And how might our framing of disability impact our interactions with students and either work toward or hinder full integration of students with disabilities into postsecondary programs?

In this session, Khubchandani and two other presenters explore the basics of social justice, the social model of disability, the power and influence of language, and the current state of accessibility and disability in postsecondary schools of psychology and law.
