Information for HIV/AIDS Researchers

Currently Funded HIV/AIDS Research
The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Computer Retrieval of Information on Scientific Projects (CRISP) file identifies all currently funded NIMH research as well as research from some other federal agencies. CRISP provides abstracts and information about principal investigators, and supplements published research.

Research Funding Opportunities
A number of Federal agencies provide support for HIV/AIDS research. Agencies who support this research include the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Of course, this list is not definitive. Other agencies and foundations supports AIDS research. For instance, one way to identify them is in the resource sections of HIV/AIDS research papers where support is acknowledged.

Where does HIV/AIDS Research get published?
Many journals publish research relevant to HIV/AIDS. In addition, other journals can be found in the reference section of HIV/AIDS research articles.

HIV/AIDS Program Evaluation Tools
This website provides tools for the development and evaluation of HIV prevention programs. It was design to serve the needs of HIV prevention providers and technical assistance providers who serve these providers.
