All fellowship awards are subject to future funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Required Documents to Be Submitted Online

  • Brief cover letter (no more than one page)

  • Application form

  • Two essays

  • Addictions training plan

  • Curriculum vitae

  • Three recommendation letters (with recommendation forms)

  • Unofficial transcript(s)

  • GRE report (institution code 0187; department code 5199 — unofficial report may be uploaded by applicant)

Other MFP Programs

  • The MHSAS Postdoctoral Fellowship is designed for early career doctoral recipients who are interested in developing a career in behavioral health services or policy. Deadline January 15th.
