The Office of Ethnic Minority Affairs staffed the January 2008 meeting of the Council of National Psychological Associations for the Advancement of Ethnic Minority Interests in Phoenix, AZ.


Major issues addressed included APA bylaws amendment to create a C/R seat for each national ethnic minority psychological association.

Council of National Psychological Associations for the Advancement of Ethnic Minority Interests (CNPAAEMI)

Consists of the Presidents of the Asian American Psychological Association, the Association of Black Psychologists, the National Latina/o Psychological Association, the Society of Indian Psychologists, the Society for the Psychological Study of Ethnic Minority Issues (Division 45 of APA) and the American Psychological Association.
