About the SES Indicator
The SES Indicator is the e-newsletter of the Public Interest Directorate's Office of Socioeconomic Status (SES). This e-newsletter has amended its delivery schedule to publish on a quarterly basis, commencing with its Winter 2013 edition. Subsequent issues will be released in the spring, summer and fall of 2013.
The SES Indicator electronic newsletter has been published since 2008. The newsletter’s goal is to promote scientific understanding of the roles of poverty and SES in health, education and human welfare.
The SES Indicator highlights current themes and policy implications concerning socioeconomic status. It is a vehicle to introduce and advance new ideas while contributing to the understanding and remediation of disparities in health and human welfare.
The newsletter’s readership covers the spectrum of psychology, including psychologists, psychology educators and psychology students. Readers are drawn from our SES Network email list and MyAPA, where users can choose to subscribe. We are expanding our readership through social networking and marketing efforts.
