(3) Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi) – 42nd Annual International Convention
July 27 – August 1, 2010 | Chicago, IL

Information: The ABPsi International Convention provides an outstanding educational program, which includes continuing education units and general professional development opportunities for attendees.  Keynote speakers, guest panelists and general sessions cover a diverse array of topics related to the practice, research, and professional training related to the total well being of our world community.  In addition to over 80 presentations, the Annual Business and Committee meetings are held.  Additionally, students and young professionals are mentored by the association’s elders and seasoned members.  CALL FOR PAPERS IS CLOSED.

(6) National Latino/a Psychological Association (NLPA) 2010 Biennial Conference
“Latinas: Celebrating the Psychological Strengths and Resilience of Latina Women and Girls”

Information: NLPA will feature keynote addresses from President-Elect of the American Psychological Association (APA) Melba Vasquez, PhD, ABPP, and Patricia Arredondo, EdD, the first Hispanic President of the American Counseling Association.  The NLPA conference will include symposia, paper presentations, CEU programming, student programming, awards, and social networking.

(7) 36th Annual Association for Women in Psychology (AWP) Conference
“Generating Feminisms: Building Partnerships, Recognizing Continuity, and Growing Community Across the Feminist Generation(s)”
