Annual Education Advocacy Breakfast Meeting

Saturday, August 9, 7:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Fairmont Royal York Hotel
Confederation Rooms 5 & 6

Summary: Preparations for the annual Education Advocacy Breakfast Meeting to be held during the APA Toronto convention are already underway. Evan Knisely, Associate Vice President for Van Scoyoc Associates - one of the top appropriations consulting firms in Washington, D.C. - will be the keynote presenter. Through his presentation, "Fighting for Graduate Psychology Education Funding: Surviving the Annual Appropriations Battle," Mr. Knisely will not only explain how the annual appropriations process really works and how difficult it is for psychology to get a "win" - but why it's the biggest game in town and how you can help us keep our place at the table!

As always, the breakfast is free and open to members of the Education Advocacy Grassroots Network, and all other interested individuals. In order to ensure adequate room and catering arrangements, please RSVP by Friday, August 1st, either by email to Amanda Ring or phone (202-312-6483).
