On November 6, 2008 the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced a new Campus Suicide Grant competition. SAMHSA will fund approximately 15 Campus Suicide Prevention Grants for a total of $1.5 million (average grants of approximately $100,000). Institutions of Higher Education are encouraged to apply. The deadline is January 18, 2008.
