Phase I in the development of the Federal Education Advocacy Coordinators (FEDAC) Network begins with the recruitment of 10 Regional FEDACs. The FEDACs will assist APA Education Advocacy Staff in identifying psychologists in states within their regions that have key Members of Congress serving on Senate or House Appropriations Subcommittees and/or Senate HELP or House Subcommittee on Health.

Region I: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont

Region 2: New Jersey, and New York

Region 3: Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia

Region 4: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi

Region 5: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin

Region 6: Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas

Region 7: Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska

Region 8: Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming

Region 9: Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Nevada

Region 10: Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington
