Determination and Documentation of the Need for Practice Guidelines
This form is to be used to submit comments to the Board of Professional Affairs’ Committee on Professional Practice and Standards (COPPS) on the "Determination and Documentation of the Need for Practice Guidelines" document. This document expands on Section 2.2 of the “Criteria for Practice Guideline Development and Evaluation” (APA, 2002), as requested by the Board of Directors.
As stated in the announcement, COPPS seeks comment on the proposed document from interested parties, and especially on the importance, relevance, and adequacy of the prospective text. To assist in review of the document, please visit the “Practice Guidelines Checklist.”
