Using PracticeNet, a unique Internet-based data collection infrastructure, the APA Practice Directorate conducted a survey of practicing psychologists regarding assessment and treatment of substance use. The survey was conducted September 17 - October 16, 2002.

Goals
PracticeNet will provide the Practice Directorate with critical information about the day to day experiences of practitioners that can be used to shape programs and policies and to advocate for the profession.
