Peace: Abstracts of the Psychological and Behavioral Literature, 1967–1990
For individuals in the U.S. & U.S. territories
As part of its continuing knowledge dissemination role, the APA periodically publishes bibliographies on the psychological and behavioral aspects of major topical issues in order to increase the accessibility and utilization of empirical data by the public and the scientific community in addressing such policy matters.
This bibliography on peace and peace research was developed in a somewhat different manner from other bibliographies in the series. The core of the material in this volume was derived from over 1,450 journals reviewed for publication in Psychological Abstracts (and its computerized counterparts PsycINFO® and PsycLIT® on compact disc), but unlike other bibliographies in the APA series, this bibliography includes a small number of journal abstracts prior to 1967.
