This annotated bibliography is the latest addition to the APA series of bibliographic literature on ethnic minorities. The research findings as represented in this bibliography point to some understanding of the epidemiology, etiology, and causal factors associated with common behavioral problems in this group.
The citations in this bibliography are drawn from journal abstracts, dissertations, and book and chapter records published in Psychological Abstracts (and its computerized counterparts—PsycINFO online and PsycLIT on compact disc). This bibliography contains 1,560 abstracts to serial literature, 468 citations to dissertations, 29 authored books, and 151 chapters from 120 edited books that focus on the psychological and behavioral aspects of Native Americans.
