Customized Webinar Training — What You Need, When You Need It
Those of you who have been working with APA's databases for a while know all about our webinars. We talk them up quite a lot, and we've plugged them several other times in this issue alone.
As noted in the introduction to this issue, we offer a standard set of webinars throughout the year. For librarians, we offer a session for PsycINFO, and one for PsycTESTS. But what you might not have thought about was requesting something more specific, developed just for your institution.
Do you need a refresher on PsycBOOKS, or want to train some new staff and interns on the APA products you currently subscribe to? Is your library's instruction program growing faster than your ability to fill instruction requests? Have a professor requesting an online training, but not sure where to start?
Our training specialists can work closely with you to develop a session covering exactly what you need, performing search demonstrations on the platform your institution uses.
Here are a few of the custom webinars we've put together in the last year or so:
- A combined introduction to PsycTESTS and PsycTHERAPY
- A comprehensive review of all of APA's databases and electronic products
- A look at finding information about tests and measures in APA databases
