Psychology of Men & Masculinity® Receives the 2010 Impact Factor

Dear Authors, Editorial Board Members, Reviewers, and Readers of Psychology of Men & Masculinity®:

I am pleased to announce that PMM was added to the September update of the Thomson Reuters' Journal Citation Reports, with a 2010 Impact Factor of 2.208, ranking 8th out of 58 journals in the JCR Social Psychology category. The journal is also in the top quartile among Social Psychology journals on the 5-Yr Impact Factor and Article Influence Score.

I am delighted to see this early inclusion of PMM, ahead of its scheduled debut in the JCR database in 2012. Accomplishments like this are due to the efforts of many people, and so I would like to thank the past and present Editorial Board, including the two prior editors, David Lisak and Sam Cochran, on whose shoulders I have stood in my tenure as Editor, as well as the past and present Associate Editors, reviewers, authors, readers, and the APA Journals and PMM staffs.

This marks a strong initial impression in an important international database, and we look forward to the journal's continued growth.

Sincerely,
Ronald F. Levant, PMM Editor
