About the special issue

Leadership theories have not sufficiently addressed issues of diversity and social justice. Therefore, the articles in this issue urge leadership researchers to understand the challenges to leadership that have emerged in a world in which both leaders and followers represent different ethnicities, races, genders, and sexual orientations. The goal of these articles is to promote more inclusive leadership paradigms.
