About the special issue
The life story gives us our sense of identity: a narrative coherence that integrates our past experiences with our present concerns and future goals. All of the articles in this special issue take this storied nature of identity as an explicit or implicit starting point: They all focus on how individuals remember, interpret, and create narratives of the events of their lives.
