Topic Guides are brief handouts designed to demonstrate how APA databases can be used to search for resources in a variety of topic areas. They contain sample search scenarios, and a list of selected Index Terms from the Thesaurus of Psychological Index Terms®.
Topic Guides are not platform specific, but have been designed to pair with our Quick Reference Guides, which demonstrate how to search APA PsycInfo on APA PsycNet, EBSCOhost, ProQuest, or Ovid.
APA grants permission for librarians and educators to link these Topic Guides to their library web sites, Libguides, course management software, and other resources intended to assist students and researchers in their work.
