PsycINFO® Topic Guides
Topic Guides are brief handouts designed to demonstrate how PsycINFO can be used to search for resources in a variety of topic areas. They contain three sample search scenarios, and a list of selected Index Terms.
We have provided these guides in two formats: a PowerPoint file that contains only the text, so that you can incorporate any portions of the guide that you like into existing instruction materials; and a full-color PDF that you can download and print at your institution. For best results, we recommend using a lightweight card stock. The file is set to print two Topic Guides per page, double-sided, and be trimmed down to a finished size of approximately 6.5" x 4.5".
Topic Guides are not platform specific, but have been designed to pair with our Quick Reference Guides, which demonstrate how to search PsycINFO on APA PsycNET, EBSCOhost, ProQuest or OvidSP.
