Some Days Are Lonely
For individuals in the U.S. & U.S. territories
Do you ever feel lonely? Like there are dark clouds filling the sky?
Everyone feels lonely from time to time. Some Days Are Lonely beautifully illustrates that feeling, and shows that a clear sky can appear and the sun can once again shine.
A Note to Parents offers more information about loneliness and provides some strategies to cope with it. Creative activities are also included to help kids reflect on and understand their feelings.
With notes for parents about encouraging their children to adjust to loneliness, Some Days Are Lonely is a must for children's picture book collections with a focus on feelings.

We all have days when we feel alone in the world. It's so important to help young children talk about their feelings and learn some skills that can help them make friends and feel connected to the great wide world. A valuable and important book.
I'd like to use this book in a couple of ways: 1)to teach kids about the feeling of loneliness and how to overcome it and 2)to help children recognize when others are feeling down and how to help them out of a cloudy feeling. Helping kids be in touch with their empathetic heart is very important to me. Some Days Are Lonely really helped me dig into my creative counselor side. Just reading the story is not enough. You gotta really go for it. Another very healing book. PS. The activities on the back pages are EXCELLENT
