Nearly 2,000 health care professionals are expected to attend the National Conference on Correctional Health Care on Oct. 20-24, 2012, in Las Vegas. Sponsored by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care, the event will help educate those who provide care to the millions of adult and juvenile patients who pass through the U.S. correctional system each year.

The five-day meeting will comprise a number of scheduled events (PDF, 135KB), including a keynote address by APA member Thomas Grisso, PhD, a clinical and forensic psychologist at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Mass.
