    Glorisa J. Canino, PhD, is a professor at the School of Medicine, department of pediatrics, and the director of the Behavioral Sciences Research Institute, University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine. She has published substantially in the area of instrument psychometrics, psychiatric epidemiology, mental health services research, pediatric asthma and health disparities.
