2004 Annual Convention Advance Media & Hotel Registration

Aloha Everyone:

It is that time of year again to plan to attend the 112th annual convention of the American Psychological Association (APA) in Honolulu, Hawaii, July 28 - August 1, 2004. I wanted to give you a head start on making your hotel reservations and registering as media (registration fee is waived for media). I encourage you to book your hotel rooms via the following link as soon as possible: http://www.apa.org/convention/housing.html

You can also call to reserve a hotel room directly (credit card only) through the APA housing service at (800) 974-9833 (toll free) or (847) 282- 2529 (international). THE DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING HOUSING AT THE SPECIAL CONVENTION RATE IS JULY 6, 2004.

The meeting will return to a five-day format only for this convention to accommodate for the sessions ending at 3pm everyday. This gives presenters, attendees and media a chance to take in some of the Hawaiian sites. Like last year, we are mailing the convention advance media registration booklet only to those reporters that request it. You must use the media registration form in the booklet so the registration fee can be waived and to receive your name badge and other convention materials prior to the convention. To request the advance media registration booklet, please send us an Email and include your name and mailing address or call 202-336-5707. THE DEADLINE FOR ADVANCE MEDIA REGISTRATION IS JUNE 23, 2004. On-site media registration will also be available.
