Pressroom – New Orleans Marriott, Bonaparte Room
Facilities will include wireless connections for your laptops and two high-speed printers. We will also have working space, telephones, fax machines, phone lines for data transmission and APA staff resources for you. The press area will also be the site of any news briefings held during the convention.

Registration
Register for Hotels at http://www.apa.org/convention06/advance.html. Email for a PDF of the advance registration form. THE DEADLINE FOR ADVANCE MEDIA REGISTRATION IS JUNE 28, 2006. On-site media registration will also be available. Media registration is limited to credentialed journalists, others who have assignment letters on the letterhead of a media organization and public information officers from universities, non-profit organizations and government agencies.
Program and Papers
The program will be available after July 20 and onsite. Press releases and selected papers will be available electronically. We will supply you with disk key cards/CDs or email the papers to you as attachments.
Press Releases
Releases summarizing convention sessions, presentations and papers will be available the second week of August (a week to 10 days before the convention starts) at www.apa.org/releases.
Embargoes
All sessions are embargoed for the time of presentation. Press releases or press briefings on a session could change the embargo time.
