CARE Exploring Behavior Outreach Program
The CARE Exploring Behavior Outreach Program (CEBOP) is an adaptation of the Exploring Behavior Week program that was introduced under the aegis of the Decade of Behavior initiative. CEBOP is aimed at introducing middle and high school students (Grades 8-10) to the relevance of research with animals other than humans.
CARE has developed outreach materials that psychological scientists and students who work with nonhuman animals can use to talk to students in Grades 8-10 about their work, highlighting the importance and contributions of nonhuman animal research in psychology.
The five templates below may be downloaded and customized to suit your style and research interests. The idea is to talk about a topic that is studied from different perspectives by researchers in psychology, including those who work with nonhuman animals in the field or laboratory.
