Executive Branch Science Fellowship Program: Call for Applications

Come spend the year in Washington! The Science Directorate encourages psychological scientists at any point in their careers to apply for the APA-funded Executive Branch Science Fellowship program, designed to provide psychologists with substantial experience in the federal government’s scientific enterprise. Fellows spend a year working as special assistants in a science mission agency or office, with recent placements including the National Science Foundation, National Institutes of Health, and Department of Defense. Additional possibilities for 2010-2011 include the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit and the Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences. Applications for the 2010-2011 program are due by January 8, 2010 to Heather Kelly in the APA Science Directorate’s Government Relations Office.
