Awards for Communicating Science to the Public: National Academies Seeks Nominations
The Keck Futures Initiative of the National Academies invites nominations for its 2010 Communication Awards. Four prizes of $20,000 each will be given to individuals or teams that have produced original works for the general public on issues and advances in science, engineering, or medicine. Nominations can be made in four categories: Book; Magazine/Newspaper; Film/Radio/TV; and Online. The awards are for work published or released in 2009.
