Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize for child and adolescent research: Call for nominations
The Jacobs Foundation, based in Zurich, Switzerland, invites nominations for its annual Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize for “outstanding scientific contributions of individuals from all disciplines aiming at the improvement of young people’s development and perspectives worldwide.”
Previous winners of the prize, which was first given in 2009, are psychologists Laurence Steinberg of Temple University (2009) and Avshalom Caspi and Terrie Moffitt of Duke University (2010).
The prize carries a cash award of $1 million Swiss francs (approximately $1 million U.S. dollars). Further information about the prize and nomination procedures can be found on the Jacobs Foundation website. The deadline for nominations is March 15, 2011.
