Comments sought on the revised Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing

For the past three years, the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Psychological Association, and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME), has sponsored the revision of the document widely considered to be the authoritative source on the development and validation of educational and psychological tests and assessments - the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing (the Standards).  The Joint Committee responsible for revising the document has posted a revised draft of the Standards online. A template allows individuals and organizations to review the draft document and to submit comments and recommendations. All comments and recommendations must be submitted to the Joint Committee through this website, and will be due by April 20, 2011.
