APA award for psychology librarians: Call for nominations
The American Psychological Association’s Excellence in Librarianship Award was created to recognize outstanding contributions to librarianship in psychology and the behavioral sciences. Contributions may include instruction, project development, publications, research or service. The award is sponsored by APA’s Office of Publications and Databases.
Both librarians and allied professionals are eligible. Individuals may nominate themselves or others. Nominations will be accepted from library users, students, faculty, library colleagues or others with knowledge of the nominee’s achievement.
The winner will be honored at the American Library Association’s annual meeting and receive a prize of $2,500.
See the award website for further information. The deadline for nominations is April 16, 2012.
