A Primer on Entering the Professoriate
 What is the "right" academic job, and what does it take to land it? The APA will host several workshops in conjunction with several conferences and meetings in 2006. These workshops are designed to introduce graduate students and postdoctoral students to an academic career. Topics range from how the academic culture varies across institutions to the pragmatics of the hiring process. Accomplished panelists will share their insights, with plenty of opportunity for discussion.
