Listserv for Science-Oriented Students
Purpose
The SciStudent email list is intended to facilitate communication and discussion among science-oriented graduate students of psychology. Students at any level may join, and may continue to participate in the list after receiving their PhD.
If you are studying psychological science we encourage you to join and actively participate in the SciStudent listserv. This is a great opportunity to discuss issues related to your training, career development, and other relevant topics with your peers! Announcements about awards, funding, training opportunities, and position openings are also encouraged.
There are very few rules as a member of this list/forum. Fewer restrictions, we have found, result in the greatest number of innovative contributions. However, the rules are critically important. How To
You may join or leave the list at any time through email, or by using the tools on APA's Listserv Web Interface http://listserve.apa.org (you can also browse the available APA listservs and join others using this portal).
To join this list using an email, type SUBSCRIBE SCISTUDENT YourFirstName YourLastName in the body of an email, and leave the subject line blank. Then send the email, from the address you wish to subscribe, to LISTSERV[at]LISTS[dot]APA[dot]ORG.
To unsubscribe from this list using an email, type SIGNOFF SCISTUDENT in the body of an email and leave the subject line blank. Then send the email, from the address you wish to unsubscribe, to LISTSERV[at]LISTS[dot]APA[dot]ORG.
As a list member, to post messages to the list simply send them to SCISTUDENT[at]lists[dot]apa[dot]org.
If you have a question about the list, or would like to post without joining, contact the List Owner at SCISTUDENT-request[at]lists[dot]apa[dot]org.
