Get Involved!Our success depends on your comments and participation! As a science-oriented graduate student, there are several ways in which you can play an active role in addressing issues and concerns that are most important to you:
Contact a Council member near you or who shares your area of specialization.Take a look at the member roster to find out Council members' contact information and specialty areas. Feel free to contact us! Submit ideas for potential APASSC programming at the annual APA Convention.Do you have a great idea for an APA Convention session for students? E-mail us. Tell us how we may best serve your interests as a science-oriented student.There are only nine of us, but the Science Directorate wants us to represent the group of science-oriented psychology graduate students as a whole--which means that we need to hear from you! Please tell us how you think we may help the Science Directorate help you. E-mail us. Let us know how it's going!We want to hear more from you about the challenges and issues facing science-oriented students, so from time to time we'll post a question or two here and ask for feedback. We hope to include your brief responses in the science section of the appropriate issue of the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS) newsletter.
