2009 APA Advanced Statistical Training in Psychology Application Instructions

- Obtain official college transcripts (including Fall 2008 grades). These transcripts must arrive no later than February 25, 2009. Transcripts should be mailed to:

View the applicant recommendation instructions and provide them to two individuals who have agreed to recommend you.
Ask two faculty members in psychology to complete the recommendation letters and email them to
astp@apa.org. You may submit no more than two letters of reference. These letters must arrive no later than February 25, 2009.

Complete the online application. You must submit your application form electronically no later than February 25, 2009. You must complete the application form online – we cannot accept forms that are printed and mailed.
Please note: you MUST complete the form all in one sitting. You may NOT save it and return to it at a later time. Please have your answers ready before filling out the application online. A complete listing of the questions you will need to answer on the online application can be found here.
This is an important step – if you open the application form online and do not fill it out at that time, this will result in an incomplete application being submitted to us.
Given the length of time it often takes for mail delivery between Canada and the US, Canadian students are advised to use overnight delivery services for transcripts. All materials must be received no later than February 25, 2009.
